H&M

H&M criticised for using real models' heads on computer-generated bodies
H&M has been criticised for using real models’ heads on computer-generated bodies on its online store.
The Swedish fashion chain admitted that it uses ‘virtual mannequins’ to showcase lingerie and swimwear items.
Bikinis on the H&M site are worn by a body with identical proportions and poses each time – only skin tone is altered to match the model’s face.
Charities and those within the industry have criticised H&M for presenting women with an unachievable body image.
Susan Ringwood, chief executive of the eating disorder charity Beat, said: 'We understand why you need a mannequin to stand in a shop window, but not when you could have a real living body instead.'
H&M spokesman H?can Andersson said it was 'regrettable if they had led anyone to believe the virtual mannequins were real bodies' and that wasn't their intention.'
He added: 'For our Shop Online we are using a combination of real life models pictures, still life pictures and virtual mannequin pictures.
'For all other marketing and campaigns – outdoor, TV, print and other media, H&M will continue to use real life models.
'This is a technique that is not new, it is available within the industry today and we are using it for our Shop Online in combination with real life models pictures and still life pictures'.

Kate Middleton and Prince William

Kate Middleton and Prince William cheer on Gary Barlow at charity gig
Gary Barlow may not have had his Take That bandmates with him at last night's Royal Albert Hall gig but he did have Kate Middleton and Prince William cheering him on in the audience.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the charity concert in west London along with Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Barlow set up the gig to raise money for the Prince’s Trust and the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry.
X Factor judge Barlow greeted the couple as they entered the venue and made their way to the Royal box to watch the gig.
Kate looked pretty in a £69.99 black and cream lace dress from high street store Zara, a Ralph Lauren jacket and heels.
Prince William wore a navy blue suit, red tie and black shoes to the event.
Barlow told Prince William before the gig: 'I hope you enjoy tonight and I hope it's not too loud.'
Prince William joked: 'The louder the better.'
Barlow teamed up with X Factor finalist Marcus Collins for a special performance during the concert.
Earlier in the day Barlow posted a photo on his Twitter page from rehearsals with the message: '@MarcuscollinsUK sound checking for tonight's performance.'
This was the second night Barlow has performed at the Royal Albert Hall.
On Monday, special guests Jason Donovan, Lulu and former X Factor contestant Olly Murs also performed on stage.
Barlow, who is arranging shows at Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next year, waved at the royals as he started to sing Take That's hit The Greatest Day.
Afterwards, he told The Sun: 'I wasn't nervous. I really loved it.'
The Prince’s Trust is aiming to invest £2.5million to help areas in London, Manchester and Birmingham that were affected during the August riots.

Prince William and Kate Middleton 'excited' for X Factor final
Prince William and Kate Middleton told Marcus Collins they are big fans of The X Factor and suggested they will be tuning in to this weekend's live final.
The royal couple – who tied the knot earlier this year – met finalist Marcus Collins at his mentor Gary Barlow's charity solo gig at London's Royal Albert Hall earlier this week and revealed they love the ITV1 show.
Marcus – who is set to take on Amelia Lily and Little Mix in the final – told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'They both said they watched the X Factor. How amazing is that? They asked if I was nervous about the weekend and I said I couldn't wait.
'Kate said she was amazed at how much stronger my vocals were live than on television. I couldn't believe it.'
Marcus returned home to Liverpool to surprise pupils at his old school earlier this week and Gary joined him at his home to meet his family and enjoy a cup of tea.
The X Factor wannabe arrived in the city via helicopter and also visited the hairdressing salon he used to work in.
During his visit he wrote on twitter: 'It is so amazing to be back in LIVERPOOL!!!!! The support is overwhelming xxxxx (sic)'.
It was confirmed today that the finalists will be performing duets with their judges, with Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos taking to the stage.

Kate Middleton's Zara dress sells out in an hour after Gary Barlow concert
When Kate Middleton was spotted at a Gary Barlow concert in a Zara dress it was inevitable that the high street frock would fly off the shelves.
The black and white lacy floral dress, which cost just £69.99, sold out within an hour of Kate being spotted in it, with savvy buyers even clearing out the chain's Spanish website.
According to The Sun, some outlets are now selling £200 copies of the dress, which is sure to be making an appearance at Christmas parties across the country in the coming weeks.
The Duchess of Cambridge teamed her dress, which was significantly shorter than the knee-length skirts she usually favours, with black opaque tights, black shoes and a classic black blazer.
She carried a black clutch and kept her jewellery simple – just a gold bracelet and of course her sapphire engagement ring and wedding band.
Kate's high street style has earned her a legion of fashion followers and clothes she is spotted in always fly out of shops.
The Duchess even has a famous fan, Madonna, who recently told People magazine that she admires Kate's fashion sense.
'I like her choices. She’s elegant and still knows how to have some fun. I’m a fan of her style,' the queen of pop added.

Adriana Lima

Adriana Lima opens Victoria's Secret catwalk show
Victoria’s Secret’s latest fashion show might have been overshadowed by Katie Perry’s performance in a lingerie-inspired PVC costume, but the brand’s supermodels managed to turn some heads too.
When Katy wasn’t singing and prancing around in PVC, the Victoria’s Secret girls were strutting their stuff in the brand’s latest collection.
Victoria’s Secret ‘angel’ Adriana Lima opened the runway show, strutting down the catwalk for the first time since giving birth to her daughter just a year ago.
She told USA Today backstage: ‘To be back in shape for the fashion show, it wasn’t easy for me. I really worked very hard.’
No one could argue she didn’t work hard, as the Brazilian beauty showed off her rock hard abs alongside her $2 million fantasy bra.
Watch the Victoria's Secret show on video here:
The bra was crafted in collaboration with Italian jeweller Damiani and boasts over 3,000 jewels and took six craftsmen 1,500 hours to master.

Transformers director Michael Bay swaps robots for models as he shot the new Victoria's Secret campaign starring blonde beauty Lindsay Ellingson.
Ellingson is the new face of the lingerie brand's Gorgeous bra and the model was filmed posing in her underwear in a Parisian style apartment.
Lindsay raved about the shoot in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the new commercial.
'It’s all about that 1960s, Brigitte Bardot type of attitude,' she said.
'Any time somebody says, "We’re channelling 1960s," I’m like, I’m in. I love it.'
This is the first solo campaign for Ellingson, who shot the campaign with Bay in Los Angeles.
'It's so exciting and such a honour to be the face of Gorgeous,' she gushed.
'The bra is so gorgeous itself. I feel great. It's been a lot of fun today and I'm so happy.'

Topless model Nives Celsius

Topless model Nives Celsius pushed down Wag fit league
Nives Celsius, the topless model wife of Croatian footballer Dino Drpic, is furious after being relegated from the top ten of football's fittest Wags.
The 27-year-old, who upset soccer authorities after revealing she and her hubby once had sex in the centre of a pitch, is not happy about making only 24th spot in Nuts magazine’s list.
‘I’m one of the most beautiful footballers’ wives and I deserved to be in the top 10,’ said the 27-year-old.‘It is nice to be thought of, but it was not realistic to put me only in 24th.’
The model hit the headlines last year when she said she had made love with Drpic on the centre spot of the Zagreb stadium where Croatia beat England in a Euro 2008 qualifying match.
She has also penned a guide for wannabe Wags on how to snare footballers, stating: ‘Don’t be a tramp but be a tart in bed and never, ever, refuse expensive gifts. You’ve earned them.’
